October 10, 2025 - Whakarewarewa Forest Loop (approx. 50 km)
We ran with our parents and their friends in Rotorua.

"The Loop is a 33km circular, mostly one-way (clockwise) mountain biking trail located in Whakarewarewa Forest (aka The Redwoods) just 10 minutes (by car) from the city centre, making it super quick and easy to get to and fit around your other sightseeing activities." --RotoruaNZ website
We ran this circular course first and then moved to another trail to add extra km to make it 50 km.
December 10, 2024 - Auckland City run (approx. 70 km)
We ran with our parents throughout our city of Auckland.

April 15, 2024 - Mt. Fuji Natural Recreation Forest (approx. 50 km)
We ran and walked with our parents a part of Mt. Fuji Natural Recreation Forest. We also ran back to our accommodation to make the distance 50 km long.
December 14, 2023 - Paparoa Track (55+5 km)
We ran and walked Paparoa Track & Pike29 Memorial Track, one of the new additions to New Zealand's Great Walks with Dad and his friends. It's 55 km long one way, from Smoke-ho Car park near Blackball to Punakaiki. We added 5 km at the end to make it 60 km.April 7 - 10, 2023 - Otago Central Rail Trail (58/158 km)
A memorable bicycle trip of 152 km in 4 days, from Clyde to Middlemarch (also a little de-tour to Ophir that adds about 6 km return) through beautiful central Otago, New Zealand. On standard bikes, not on e-bikes. We ran with Dad on the 1st day and the 3rd day. The 1st day (7 Apr): Clyde to Omakau (37 km), the 2nd day (8 Apr) Omakau to Wedderburn (41.5 km), the 3rd day (9 Apr) Wedderburn to Waipiata (21 km), and 4th day (10 Apr) Waipiata to Middlemarch (52.5 km, mainly downhill).
October 13, 2022 - Fishers Track (28+14 km)
28 km of run on beautiful Fishers track from National park to Kaitieke. Scottie, our family friend and us carried on another 14 km to make it a full marathon.
April 26, 2022 - 42 Traverse (46 km)
46 km of mountain bike ride in Tongariro Forest Conservation area. Quite challenging but we completed.
